Thank you for visiting our site. We are trying to do whatever we can to save Newark's best and only club. Above are pictures that were taken at the city council meeting. 2 are computer generated ones that are what the area is susposed to look like with the new building and the bottom one is a blueprint thing. I attended the planning comittee's meeting last night and it was a very interesting 2 hour meeting. The main players on the comittee, Joesph Wald and Roy Lobata, bashed the comittee on more than one occasion and it was almost certain that they would totally reject the idea, but they let it pass to city council without recommendation, which is very rare. Mr. Bauerle's comittee really could have done a much better job with their planning and preporation for the meeting, but they gave an alright presentation nonetheless. I will go and get the copies of the transcripts when i return from my trip, early next week. Also we will probaly have to postpone March 12th's protest to a later date. Check back for more info.
